Welcome to Granville Academy Charter School, preparing students for high school, college and beyond. We are a proposed, new public school that will serve students in grades 6 – 8 in Mount Vernon, NY. We plan to open with 6th grade in the fall of 2019 and add one grade each year until we reach full 6 – 8 growth. Granville Academy Charter School will use a rigorous, structured academic program alongside extensive social supports to prepare students in grades 6 – 8 in Mount Vernon for success in rigorous high school and college programs in order to lead a life of achievement and contribution.
At Granville Academy Charter School, scholars will experience a rigorous academic curriculum that will prepare them for success in high school and college.
As important as it is for our scholars to excel academically, Granville Academy will promote the importance of giving back through active participation in various community service projects.
